How RivetAudit Works
RivetAudit is a deep-dive analysis of your transaction data that identifies interchange downgrade categories and quantifies recoverable savings opportunities.
The audit shows where your current transaction data is causing unnecessary processing costs, then identifies which savings opportunities can be addressed with RivetMonitor and RivetOptimize.
What RivetAudit identifies
- Interchange downgrade categories in your historical payment activity.
- The estimated amount of recoverable savings tied to those downgrade categories.
- Where RivetMonitor can help track future transaction quality and downgrade patterns.
- Where RivetOptimize can help prevent avoidable downgrades before transactions reach your processor.
Data Rivet needs
To perform an audit, Rivet needs reporting data exported from your credit card processing payment gateway or processor portal. The exact exports required depend on your processor, gateway setup, and the level of detail available in your reporting tools.
Supported report exports
We currently provide export instructions for the following sources.
| Source | Report | Documentation |
|---|---|---|
| Stripe | Interchange plan level fees report | View export steps |
